Online B2B Meetings - How does it work?
A matchmaking event is a quick and easy way to meet potential collaboration partners via virtual online meetings. 20 minutes is fast, but it is enough to establish a first connection.
Making online B2B appointments is easy. It is a video conversation (similar to skype and other tools) supported by the B2match platform. Preferably use a computer with a webcam and microphone installed. No additional software is required.
The steps are as follows:
- Registration of the profile via the green button 'Register now'.
- Log in at a later time via an e-mail from the organizers or via the menu option Login with your e-mail and password.
- Go to the participant list (Participants menu option) and select an available participant.
- Click on the person you want to invite and press Book meeting. You can add a personal message to the invitation.
- A few days before the online B2B event you will receive your preliminary personal agenda. You can then still send your latest requests for the virtual meetings.
- Just before the online B2B event you will receive your definitive personal agenda. You can also view your personal meetings via the meeting menu (Menu Choice Meetings) on the B2match platform.
- You can start your meetings online on November 19- November 20. For all meetings you can press the Meeting starts in button at the right time. Please use the latest version of a commonly used browser type (Google Chrome, Mozilla Thunderbird, Edge, ...). The connection will be established and the conversation can begin. You can share a file (Powerpoint, PDF...) or webpage during your meeting. If your counterpart for the meeting is not yet present, you can quickly send him or her a message via the 'Message' button.
- Pay close attention to your timer and the start of your next meeting. The 20 minutes are over in no time.
